After radio failure in IMC en route, an IFR aircraft should:

• A.Squawk 7600, descend to the LSALT and land at the nearest aerodrome immediately regardless of the weather
• B.Climb to the highest available IFR cruising level, squawk 7700 and hold overhead the nearest navaid until fuel becomes critical
• C.Continue on the cleared route at cleared or last assigned level, then commence approach at destination at the Expected Approach Time (EAT)
• D.Maintain the present heading and altitude, and track direct to the planned alternate for an immediate visual approach
